An after-shift dream that has worked its way to fruition.

A food truck to decentralize
the food industry.

Our chefs, Devin Dillard & Andrew Wenger have worked with, and put up with each other for years. After work they would sit down and discuss what was wrong with the food industry. How could they create something new with their passion and attention to detail? They felt like they needed to do it for themselves just as much as they needed to do it for their community.
Their goals? To address all of the things that the industry considers ‘normal’ business practices. They wanted to thwart the concepts of a brick and mortar and put into play, a food truck to decentralize the food industry.

To decentralized the food industry, means to bring back a traditional approach.
To build a menu only with ingredients that are grown in their/our community. And so, when you support The Angry Hippie, you’re also supporting other small businesses in your community. Your money will positively impact and directly fuel our community of small business owners, farmers, and agriculture.
An added benefit? This creates a seasonal aspect. Our local farms cannot grow the same produce all year around, thus creating the opportunity for seasonal menu items.

Angry Hippie isn’t just a name, or a concept, its a practice. We want to proclaim the importance of farmers and sustainability in our industry. How? With an unapologetic eye for those that produce in our community. We know where our food comes from. We know where our farmers plant their seeds. We’ve seen what it takes for a cattle rancher to put beef on the table. We just want to make kick ass tacos that we are proud of, and food that inspires you to be a bigger part of your community. We were always told you can taste the love and passion in someone’s cooking. Let’s also include the growing and nurturing process of our farmers. That’s LOVE.

You are our story. Your families, your neighbors, your community makes us wake up every day and cook with love and passion to nourish.
